The Strong Start Early Learning Academy at the Church of the Annunciation, 7580 Clinton St., Elma, is currently accepting student registrations for the 2017-18 school year.

“Annunciation offers Pre-K 3, 4 & 5 in a fun and Christ-centered learning community,” said Program Director Carrie D’Attilio. “We understand the rigorous demands that will be placed on your children in kindergarten and work very hard to help prepare them to be successful. Featuring Handwriting Without Tears and Building Blocks Math, we follow the New York State standards and ensure that all activities are challenging but maintain developmentally appropriate practices.

“We are also proud to offer an environment that promotes independence and creativity, and a classroom that teaches morals such as respect, kindness and responsibility.”

Annunciation offers Pre-K 3 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday or Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and a Pre-K 4/5 program from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Additionally, “Mommy and Me” classes for children 18 months to 3 years old take place on Monday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. This class provides a fun and hands-on learning, play-based atmosphere where you and your child have an opportunity to socialize with other families and participate in music, story time, engaging theme-oriented activities, arts and crafts, painting and more.

Pre-K informational packets can be picked up at the school. Families that register by March 17 will receive a $100 tuition credit.
