Buffalo Bandits to sponsor Wheelchair Lacrosse Tournament

The Buffalo Bandits announced that the team will serve as a sponsor of the 2017 Wheelchair Lacrosse USA National Championship at Buffalo RiverWorks on Aug. 25 and 26.

The two-day tournament will feature eight teams from across the country, including a local team sponsored by the Bandits. The entire tournament will be open to the public with no admission fee charged for spectators. Play will begin on Friday, Aug. 25 at 8:30 a.m. and the event will continue throughout the day and into Saturday, with a social gathering taking place Friday night. Both local and national lacrosse vendors will be on hand.

The tournament’s games will feature 15-minute quarters, with each team playing a minimum of four games. Wheelchair lacrosse rules and more information about the event can be found at wheelchairlacrosse.com.
