Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association plans Head of the Buffalo regatta

The Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association (BSRA), located at 405 Ohio St. in Buffalo along the Buffalo River, will host the Head of the Buffalo Regatta on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Head of the Buffalo will feature teams of high school, collegiate, open and masters rowers competing on an exciting 4,000-meter curved course on the Buffalo River that passes by historic grain silos that have stood for decades. Racing will kick off at 9 a.m. sharp and end at approximately 2 p.m. Crews from Buffalo, Rochester and Erie will be among the competitors, including a special We Can Row category for female cancer survivors.
