Christmas in the Country coming to Rochester area November 9-11

The three-day event will feature over 200 artisans from across the country displaying and selling their unique handcrafted creations!

This year, the nation’s number one rated artisan market will set up in the Rochester Dome Arena from Nov. 9-11. The three-day event will feature over 200 artisans from across the country displaying and selling their unique handcrafted creations including gourmet food, wine and spirits, spa-quality bath and beauty products, trendsetting jewelry, hand-poured aromatic candles, eco-friendly clothing, pottery, original wall art, woodwork, home décor and holiday gift items galore.

“This market gives shoppers a unique experience. There are all the sights, sounds and scents of the holidays, but all of the products are handmade by the artisans at the event so they truly are one of a kind,” said Dan Kaczynski of Premier Promotions, organizers of the event. “The interaction between patrons and artisans is something you just cannot find on an ordinary shopping trip. And most importantly, your holiday gift giving will be meaningful and inspired.”

Christmas in the Country – Rochester will open Friday, Nov. 9 from 4 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 pm.; and Sunday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Complimentary return passes will be available each day.

As is the tradition with all of Premier Promotions’ events, community nonprofits will benefit as well.

“This has always been an integral part of our philosophy,” added Kaczynski. “This is a special time of the year and we always remember the true meaning of the season.” Over the years Premier Promotions has helped various nonprofit organizations raise over $1.5 million.

Tickets will be available at the door, and coupons for discounted admission are available through www.wnypremierpromotions.com.

For more than 34 years, Premier Promotions has produced high-quality, extremely successful artisan events including Springtime in the Country, Springtime in Rochester, Christmas in the Country and Yuletide in the Country. The events are consistently ranked among the top 100 craft shows in America by Sunshine Artist magazine. Last year, more than 80,000 visitors attended these shows, purchasing more than $4 million in high-quality, handmade products directly from the juried artisans.
