Commentary: How much does it cost to reduce loss of life on the road? In this case, about one dollar

You open your vehicle door and stick reflective tape to the lower horizontal portion of your door (see U.S. Patent No. 9,308,859 for details) for a price of one dollar. You have just created a new Vehicle Door Accident Avoidance System that can now be seen by other vehicle drivers, at night, from over 1,000 feet away, even if you’re standing outside the vehicle and in front of the reflective tape.

Thanks to Inview Vehicle Trim, it is now possible for any vehicle manufacturer in the world today to allow every opened vehicle door to be seen at night. This U.S. patented and U.S. trademarked system will reduce the estimated 100 lives lost globally each night as a result of an opened vehicle door not providing a warning to other vehicle drivers. Most importantly, it will, in fact, become a new global safety standard with the full voluntary participation of every vehicle manufacturer in the world today.

The dark ages of not having an opened vehicle door seen at night are over! For more information, please email pe***************@gm***.com.
