The popular Elmwood Village Farmers Market, featuring nearly 40 vendors selling fresh, seasonal and local produce and products, continues on Saturday, Oct. 7, at the corner of Elmwood Avenue and Bidwell Parkway in Buffalo’s historic Elmwood Village. Hours at the open-air market, a program of the Elmwood Village Association, are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday, rain or shine, through November.
Entertainment on Oct. 7 will feature Brian & Peg from approximately 9:30 to 11 a.m. and Porcelain Train from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Hosting the market’s community group tables will be United Healthcare, The Friends of the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter and PUSH Green. Wine-tasting will be provided by Victorianbourg Wine Estate.
Field & Fork Network’s “Double Up Food Bucks” program continues at the market.
