Former WWE star Victoria to wrestle in North Tonawanda

Empire State Wrestling (ESW) will return to the St. Johnsburg Fire Hall, 7165 Ward Road, North Tonawanda, on Saturday, Jan. 19 for “A Night at the St. Johnsburg.” General admission tickets are available for $15 and increase $5 on the day of the show. First and second row tickets are sold out. Doors open at 5 p.m. with bell time at 6 p.m. 

A Night at the St. Johnsburg will be broadcast over live streaming service Twitch, with select matches being recorded exclusively for Powerslam.TV.

The following wrestlers are scheduled to appear at A Night at the St. Johnsburg:

• Two-time World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Women’s Champion Lisa Marie Varon, formerly known as Victoria, will face Impact Wrestling star Allie.

• ESW Heavyweight Champion Pepper Parks will defend his title against North Tonawanda’s own Kevin Bennett in a street fight.

• In a battle of Buffalo-based wrestlers, 2018 Ilio DiPaolo Cup winner Brandon Thurston will put the cup on the line against his fellow DiPaolo Cup finalist Daniel Garcia.

• ESW Tag Team Champions Vince Valor and James Sayga will defend their titles against Hand Crafted (Gregory Iron and R.J. City).

• Former Oliver Street Express tag partners Randy P. and Andy C. will square off one-on-one for the first time.

• Albion’s Kevin Blackwood will face Cleveland’s Atticus Cogar.

• Frankie Feathers will hold a celebration in honor of winning the ESW Interstate Championship.

• International wrestling star Zachary Wentz will make his ESW debut.

• Former ESW Heavyweight Champion Bill Collier will be in action along with many of ESW’s regular fan favorites and villains.

ESW promotes eight shows a year, primarily held at the St. Johnsburg Fire Hall in North Tonawanda, boasting crowds of over 400 fans. Larger “super show” events have been held at the Kenan Center in Lockport and the Frontier Fire Hall in Niagara Falls, N.Y., drawing crowds up to 1,000.
