Mar 14, 2018 | Entertainment

St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Buffalo begins this Friday at Larkin Square for the 6th annual KeyBank Live at O’Larkin! From 5 to 8 p.m., Larkin Square will feature live music from Celtic rock band McCarthyizm and performances by Clann Na Cara Irish Dancers and The Greater Buffalo Fire Fighters Pipes & Drums. KeyBank Live at O’Larkin has quickly become a Larkinville tradition and an exciting introduction to the popular spring and summer events.

“The Square has so much energy with everyone dressed in green, ready for St. Patrick’s Day,” said Leslie Zemsky, Director of Fun at Larkin Square. “We’re excited to continue offering free events and free parking at Larkin Square thanks to our presenting sponsor KeyBank and sponsor Independent Health.”

This is a family friendly event and all ages are welcome. Live at O’Larkin is outdoors; guests are encouraged to dress warm, though heaters will be on the covered boardwalk. Favorite Western New York food trucks will fill the square including Lloyd, The Great Foodini and more. New this year, The Filling Station will be open and serving festive warm beverages and Irish fare. While ride-sharing is encouraged, free parking is located in the gravel lot at 111 Hydraulic St. For more information on KeyBank Live at O’Larkin, please visit bit.ly/liveatolarkin.

Larkin Square lies in the heart of Larkinville, the site of the former Larkin Soap Company warehouse buildings. The public space opened in June 2012 and has since hosted six seasons of free public events including Food Truck Tuesdays and the KeyBank Live at Larkin concert series. Larkin Square also hosts private events including weddings, corporate events, happy hours and more.
