Local rock star, top independent wrestlers coming to North Tonawanda

Empire State Wrestling (ESW) will return to the St. Johnsburg Fire Hall, 7165 Ward Road, North Tonawanda, on Saturday, Oct. 6 for “Overdrive.” 

Second row tickets are $17 and general admission is $15. Ticket prices rise $3 on the day of the show. Doors open at 5 p.m. with bell-time at 6 p.m. “Overdrive” will also be broadcast over live streaming service Twitch, with select pre-show matches being taped exclusively for Powerslam.TV.

The following wrestlers are scheduled to appear at Overdrive:
• Former World Wrestling Entertainment star and former DiPaolo Cup winner Trent Barretta.
• Every Time I Die guitarist Andy Williams will team with ESW Heavyweight Champion Pepper Parks to form the team known as The Butcher and the Blade. The duo will face North Tonawanda’s Kevin Bennett and Buffalo’s Puf.
• Beyond Wrestling stars J.T. Dunn and Ace Romero, Binghamton native Sean Carr, Albion’s Kevin Blackwood plus many more of ESW’s regular fan favorites and villains.

ESW promotes eight shows a year, primarily held at the St. Johnsburg Fire Hall in North Tonawanda, boasting crowds of over 400 fans. Larger “super show” events have been held at the Kenan Center in Lockport and the Frontier Fire Hall in Niagara Falls, drawing crowds up to 1,000. Please visit http://eswwrestling.com for details.
