Shoppers to connect with artisans at 22nd annual Springtime in the Country

Mar 21, 2016 | Lifestyles

Celebrating 22 years of fine art and artisans, Springtime in the Country returns to the Event Center at the Hamburg Fairgrounds from Friday, April 8 through Sunday, April 10. The market gives shoppers a unique opportunity to connect with artisans from across the nation, learn about their considerable talents and purchase an exciting variety of handmade items.

This year’s edition of Springtime in the Country features garden art, metalworks, women’s fashion, original wall art, custom furniture, designer jewelry, home décor, spa quality bath and beauty products, gourmet foods, children’s toys, pottery and so much more. Springtime in the Country is the perfect destination for gift buying or simply to indulge yourself while celebrating the end of winter!

“This market epitomizes the growing trend in our community — the importance of buying small, handmade and local,” notes Daniel Kaczynski of Premier Promotions. “We are definitely experiencing a resurgence in community markets as consumers are making meaningful purchases from small businesses,” added Kaczynski.

Springtime in the Country runs from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 8; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 9; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 10. Admission is $7 for adults and seniors, and complimentary return passes will be available at the event’s information booth. Children under 12 are free.

Discount tickets for Springtime in the Country are available through Thursday April 7, and may be purchased at the Fairgrounds Business Office, open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and at other locations listed online at www.wnypremierpromotions.com. Parking is free and plentiful.

For 32 years, Premier Promotions has produced high-quality, extremely successful artisan events including Springtime in the Country, Christmas in the Country, Yuletide in the Country and Christmas in the Country-Erie.
