Signing times announced for Legends & Stars event in Batavia

Legends & Stars, a company formed to provide a first-class event experience for sports collectors and fans, will bring more than 20 athletes to Batavia Downs Gaming Center Oct. 27 and 28 for autograph appearances. Batavia Downs is located at 8315 Park Road.

Scheduled to appear on Saturday, Oct. 27 are:
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Pat LaFontaine
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Mark Duper, Mark Clayton
12 to 1 p.m.: Jack McDowell
12:30 to 1:30 p.m.: Andy Van Slyke
1 to 2 p.m.: Ron Guidry
1:30 to 2:30 p.m.: Matt Barnaby
2 to 3 p.m.: Ken Anderson, Steve Grogan
2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Irving Fryar

Scheduled to appear on Sunday, Oct. 28 are:
10:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Marv Levy, John Davis
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Darryl Talley
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Emmitt Smith
12 to 1 p.m.: Antowain Smith
12:30 to 1:30 p.m.: Kurt Schultz
1 to 2 p.m.: Bruce Smith, Mark Maddox
1:30 to 2:30 p.m.: Andre Reed
2 to 3 p.m.: Marlin Briscoe, Lucius Sanford

Also appearing both Saturday and Sunday will be actor Dwier Brown who played John Kinsella in the movie Field of Dreams.

Admission to the event, which will also feature dozens of sports card and memorabilia dealers from across the country, is just $8. Children under age 12 will be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Individuals 18 and older will receive a $7 free play voucher for the casino with the purchase of admission to the Legends & Stars event. Additionally, paid admission will include one free autograph from Barnaby on Saturday and Schulz on Sunday.
