Work on Buffalo Irish Center mural begins

The mural demonstrates how our Irish Heritage has shaped us as individuals and as a community.

The design of artist Judi Witt of Hamburg has been selected for the Buffalo Irish Center mural, Mise Eire.

The mural demonstrates how our Irish Heritage has shaped us as individuals and as a community. Music, dance, sports, professions, legends and more will show how our roots have established our heritage tree in WNY.  The mural will span the side wall of the Buffalo Irish Center. The project is the completion of almost two years of work by the Irish Center’s mural committee; their research and community involvement has brought this idea to fruition.

The community is invited to stop by and watch as the mural story takes shape at 245 Abbott Road. This artwork will be a wonderful addition to the Buffalo Irish Center and the community.
