Bandits to host youth lacrosse clinics

Feb 25, 2019 | Sports Scene

The Buffalo Bandits announced that current Bandits players will conduct two youth lacrosse clinics for children of all ages and abilities on March 23 and April 20 at KeyBank Center.

Each camp will feature two sessions broken down by age group and a third adaptive session for participants with intellectual disabilities that is open to all ages. Each child will receive on-floor instruction as well as one free ticket to a 2018-19 Bandits regular-season home game, a team yearbook, a team photo and an autographed photo of a select Bandits player.

Participants are welcome to enroll in one or both sessions, with cost of attendance listed at $39 per participant for one date or $69 for both dates. A price reduction will be made available for the adaptive clinic and for Jr. Bandits, with a discount of $29 for one session or $49 for two.

Players are required to bring at least their own stick, gloves, helmet and sneakers, but full box lacrosse equipment is strongly encouraged. Each session is limited to four goalies, however these sessions are not designed for goalies. Goalies will be allowed to sign up for each session at a cost of $29 or $69 for all three.

The session times for each day are as follows:
Adaptive clinic: 12 – 1 p.m.
Ages 5-9: 1 – 2 p.m.
Ages 10-14: 2 – 3 p.m.

Registration can be completed on the team website at Bandits.com.
