Boston Lions Club to hold Father’s Day Chicken Barbecue

The Boston Lions Club will host its annual Father’s Day Chicken Barbecue from 3:30 to 6 p.m. (or until sold out) on Sunday, June 20, at Three Girls Café, 8373 Boston State Road, Boston. This will be a drive-through event and proceeds will benefit Lions Club activities and the organization’s loan closet.

Pre-sale dinner tickets are just $11 each and can be purchased at Herb’s Barber Shop, Steve’s Barber Shop or Three Girls Café in Boston, from any member of the Boston Lions Club, or by calling Al at 648-5908 or Rene at 553-7069. The chicken dinner will also include potato salad, macaroni salad, roll/butter and a cookie. Dinners will also be available on the day of the event for $13. Pre-sale dinners must be picked up by 5:30 p.m.

The Boston Lions Club supports Boston residents through a loan closet (medical equipment, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, hospital beds, etc.), annual student scholarships and helping those in need of assistance in the community. New members are always welcome.
