Buffalo Bandits to host youth lacrosse clinics

Feb 1, 2016 | Sports Scene

The Buffalo Bandits announced recently that current Bandits players will conduct three separate youth lacrosse clinics for boys and girls on April 9, 16 and 30 at First Niagara Center.

Each camp will be broken down by age group and limited to 30 attendees at a cost of $35 per child. Each child will receive on-floor instruction as well as one free ticket to a 2016 Bandits regular season home game, a team yearbook, a team photo and an autographed photo of a select Bandits player.

Participants may register for one, two or all three days. If all three days are selected, the participant will receive an additional ticket to a 2016 Bandits regular season home game.

Players are required to bring at least their own stick, gloves, helmet and sneakers, but full box lacrosse equipment is strongly encouraged. The sessions are not designed for goalies, but goalies will be allowed to sign up for each session at a cost of $35.

The session times for each day are as follows:
• Ages 5-7: 12 – 1 p.m.
• Ages 8-10: 1 – 2 p.m.
• Ages 11-13: 2 – 3 p.m.
• Ages 14-16: 3 – 4 p.m.
