March 15th is National Agriculture Day and Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village is celebrating with the announcement of twin baby Jersey calves! Jack and Flynn will be joining the museum’s new Heritage Farmstead this season. They will be trained as a working team of oxen. The new farmstead will feature a brand new timber framed barn and will teach visitors and school groups about the history of agriculture in Western New York.
The mission of Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village is to preserve and interpret the story of Buffalo Niagara for the people of today and the community of tomorrow.
