Colm Keegan of Celtic Thunder to kick off new tour at the Buffalo Irish Center

On Friday, March 1, Colm Keegan of Celtic Thunder will bring his new show, “History of Ireland through Music,” to the Buffalo Irish Center at 245 Abbott Road. The event will include a sound check party, Irish language workshop and the presentation of major times/events in Irish history through music. Attendees may choose one or more options. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Keegan toured the world as principal singer with the Irish sensation show Celtic Thunder. He received his master’s degree in education in Glasgow, Scotland and has worked across multiple facets, each one requiring hands-on, interpersonal skills. He also created an online website where he could teach people both music theory and lessons in the Irish language.

Known for his charismatic performances, Keegan brings the depth of the Irish experience to his performances. The personal setting of the venue will create a family type experience in which to enjoy this deeply sensitive and personal account of Ireland’s history.
