Dog Ears Bookstore to host author and illustrator Suzanne Capper

Oct 3, 2016 | Events

Author and illustrator Suzanne K. F. Capper will visit Dog Ears Bookstore & Café, 688 Abbott Road, Buffalo, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, for a book-signing event.

“Princess Suzette: Counting in her Kingdom” is a children’s book by Capper that takes young readers on a journey through a magical kingdom where they can count the charming creatures that dwell there. It’s a fun exploration book that kids are sure to enjoy.

Capper has always loved to draw. Growing up, she enjoyed creating art and strove to someday publish her own children’s books. She grew up in Western New York and graduated from Orchard Park High School in 1999, and later graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in illustration. Capper then travelled to Bournemouth University in England to earn a master’s degree in 3D computer animation. This is where she met her husband, and together they currently reside in Toronto while maintaining ties to the Western New York community.
