Dog Ears Bookstore seeks teachers and educators to develop literacy programs

Mar 11, 2017 | In the News

Want to be part of the Dog Ears Bookstore family and improve literacy in our community? The nonprofit community bookstore is looking for current and retired teachers and educators to help out with current programs, design and implement their own and be part of the bookstore’s mission.

Dog Ears will host an informative and exploratory gathering at the bookstore, 688 Abbott Road, Buffalo, at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 to discuss how to serve all members of our community in a positive, educational and imaginative way. All ideas are welcome!

“Some ideas we are looking to fill our schedule with are kids programs, book clubs, story telling, computers for all ages, book-based meetings and any literacy or literature ideas you may have,” said Dog Ears Director Thomas McDonnell. “Come be part of something big, positive and exciting!”
