The new Elmwood Village Winter Market at Buffalo State, an indoor version of the popular Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market, continues from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30. The market takes place in Buckham Hall on the campus of SUNY Buffalo State, 1300 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo. The 20-week winter market will run through April 30.
In addition to hosting nearly 20 quality vendors, several food trucks are also scheduled to join the market this Saturday. Brian & Peg will provide musical entertainment from approximately 10:30 a.m. to noon.
Buckham Hall is located on Rockwell Road near Grant Street. Free parking is available on campus during market hours, and Lot R-13 is recommended for convenience.
Participating vendors include Alpine Made, Avenue Boys Smokehouse, Biscotti for Everybotti, Carla’s Crumby Creations, Dan Tower Farm, Darling Bee, First Light Farm & Creamery, Go Veggies, Hands & Paws Cookies & Treats, Hanova Hills Farm, Kindred Kreek, Native Offerings, The Pasta Peddler, Plato Dale Farm, Public Espresso & Coffee, Quaker Bonnet Bakery and T-Meadow Farm. One group or organization from Buffalo State also hosts a weekly informational table, and the market is equipped to accept EBT customers.
