The Elmwood Village Winter Market at Buffalo State, an indoor version of the popular Elmwood-Bidwell Farmers Market, continues from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 9. The market takes place in Buckham Hall on the campus of SUNY Buffalo State, 1300 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo. The 20-week winter market will run through April 30.
In addition to hosting nearly 20 quality vendors, Porcelain Train will provide musical entertainment from approximately 10:30 a.m. to noon on April 9, and Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York will host the community group table.
Buckham Hall is located on Rockwell Road near Grant Street. Free parking is available on campus during market hours, and Lot R-13 is recommended for convenience.
Participating vendors include Alpine Made, Avenue Boys Smokehouse, Biscotti for Everybotti, Carla’s Crumby Creations, Dan Tower Farm, Darling Bee, First Light Farm & Creamery, Go Veggies, Hands & Paws Cookies & Treats, Hanova Hills Farm, Kindred Kreek, Little Mama’s Confections, Native Offerings, The Pasta Peddler, Plato Dale Farm, Public Espresso & Coffee, Quaker Bonnet Bakery and T-Meadow Farm. One group or organization from Buffalo State also hosts a weekly informational table, and the market is equipped to accept EBT customers.
