Heineken Music event to spotlight emerging original acts

Oct 21, 2016 | Entertainment

Buffalo Iron Works, located in Buffalo’s downtown Cobblestone Entertainment District, will host one of the most anticipated concert events of the season on Nov. 4. Heineken Music has teamed with Buffalo’s alternative rock/pop duo BREAKERBOX and their production company JK Music Development to bring an incredible all-ages concert event spotlighting original musical artists on the rise.

BREAKERBOX is the alt rock/pop power duo of vocalist Christina DeNee‘ and drummer Scott Calandra. Known as the “Big Drums with a Big Voice,” this writing and production team are quickly making a name for themselves in the music industry with their entrepreneurial work ethic and creative live performances. Since starting their collaboration with co-producer Chris Baseford (Nickleback/Shinedown), which brought them to recording at Tommy Lee‘s exclusive Atrium Studio in Los Angeles, the duo has shared the stage with some of rock music’s top-selling acts and built a strong family of industry sponsors.

Also participating in the event are The French Quarter Hounds, a horn fusion band based in Buffalo, and Mindy Davey, a 23-year-old singer/songwriter originally from Clarence. Come early and get your photo taken with the Heineken Girls!

Doors will open at 7 p.m., with the show starting at 8 p.m. Admission is $15; please visit http://www.ticketfly.com/event/1337321 to buy advance tickets.

Buffalo Iron Works is located at 49 Illinois St. For more information, please visit www.BuffaloIronWorks.com.
