Signing times for the 27 NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB greats scheduled to appear Feb. 15-16 at the Legends & Stars event at Batavia Downs Gaming & Hotel have been announced. Batavia Downs is located at 8315 Park Road.
Athletes scheduled to appear on Saturday, Feb. 15 include:
NFL: Ben Coates (1-2 p.m.), Bob Griese (12-1 p.m.), Michael Irvin (2:30-3:30 p.m.), Vince Papale (11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.), Otis Sistrunk (11 a.m. – 12 p.m.), Phil Villapiano (11 a.m. – 12 p.m.) and Ricky Williams (1-2 p.m.).
NHL: Martin Biron (2-3 p.m.), Danny Gare (2:30-3:30 p.m.), Doug Gilmour (12:30-1:30 p.m.) and Rob Ray (2-3 p.m.).
NBA: Larry Johnson (3-4 p.m.).
MLB: Steve Garvey (3-4 p.m.), Benito Santiago (1:30-2:30 p.m.) and Robin Yount (12-1 p.m.).
Athletes scheduled to appear on Sunday, Feb. 16 include:
NFL: Josh Allen (3-4 p.m.), Don Beebe (2-3 p.m.), John Brown (1:30-2:30 p.m.), Russell Copeland (11 a.m. – 12 p.m.), Dawson Knox (2:30-3:30 p.m.), Marv Levy (12-1 p.m.), Jamie Mueller (11 a.m. – 12 p.m.), Scott Norwood (1-2 p.m.), Bill Polian (12:30-1:30 p.m.), Jim Ritcher (11:30-12:30 p.m.), Fred Smerlas (12-1 p.m.) and Duke Williams 1-2 p.m.).
Signing times are subject to change. Admission to the event, which will also feature more than 70 sports card and memorabilia dealers from across the country, is just $10 per person, per day. Children 12 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Individuals 18 and older will receive a $7 free play voucher for the casino with the purchase of admission to the Legends & Stars event.
