Aug 21, 2021 | Events

The Niagara Frontier Doll Club’s 34th annual Doll Show & Sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, in the University at Buffalo Center or Tomorrow on Flint Road in Amherst.

Admission to the event, featuring antique and collectible dolls, bears, miniatures and related items, along with an educational exhibit of antique and modern rag dolls, is just $5 per person, with children under 12 admitted free. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Stella Niagara Women’s Respite Program (WRP) and the Matt Urban Center.

The WRP was founded in 1989 to provide respite to single mothers with low income. The program has since expanded to include retreats for all mothers with low income, grandmothers raising grandchildren, women with cancer and alumnae of previous retreats.

Located on Buffalo’s East Side, the Matt Urban Center is a multi-faceted agency providing housing services, senior services, senior apartments, a weatherization program, youth and family services, homeless outreach services, GED and work skills training, crime victims assistance and food pantries.

The Niagara Frontier Doll Club is a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs.
