There’s no better way to kick off fall in Buffalo than a neighborhood street festival! Seneca Street will be closed and lined with more than 50 artisan vendors, food trucks, musicians and more for a day of shopping, eating, drinking, lawn games and live music. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more programming details from Larkin Square, Hydraulic Hearth, Flying Bison Brewing Company, Buffalo Distilling Co., Swan Street Diner, Eckl’s at Larkin and more. And of course Pet Connection will be there with our famous pet totes for your favorite four-legged friends!
Chicken BBQ and Basket Auction
Pet Connection will hold its annual chicken barbecue and basket auction from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, in the Variety Club Banquet Hall, 6114 Broadway, Lancaster.
Dinners are take-out only and will include a half chicken from BW’s Barbecue plus a cream corn bake, mashed potatoes with gravy, homemade noodle salad, roll and dessert. The cost for the chicken dinner is just $11 per person. Vegetarian and vegan dinner options will also be available for just $7.
The basket auction will feature more than 200 items, and all proceeds will benefit the homeless shelter animals at Pet Connection Programs Inc. Prize drawings will begin at 6 p.m. You do not have to be present to win.
Pet Connection’s popular “Doggy Bags” and “Tabby Totes” filled with treats and surprises will also be available for purchase at the event.
