RealtyUSA sponsors Puppy Tales session at Dog Ears Bookstore

Tom McDonnell, seated, director of Dog Ears Bookstore, and Clare Shea Hourihan and Sandy Madsen of RealtyUSA with the Puppy Tales participants.

Dog Ears Bookstore & Café, located 688 Abbott Road in South Buffalo, would like to thank Matt Whitehead and RealtyUSA for sponsoring the recent Puppy Tales session for children ages 2 to 4.

“RealtyUSA is a huge supporter of our Puppy Tales story time,” said Thomas McDonnell, director of Dog Ears Bookstore. “Through their generosity, the children received six weeks of story time that included reading three books and enjoying a snack and a craft each week. At the end of the session the kids were able to take a book home, as usual, but in this session RealtyUSA was also kind enough to give each child a surprise — a stuffed Pluto — to take home.

“During each session, Dog Ears creates an environment of family bonding, reading, literacy based activities, letter recognition and more. With community minded collaborative relationships like we have with RealtyUSA, we are able to build each child’s home library ensuring that the reading process will be fostered and enhanced.”
