Ring in the New Year at Queen Victoria Park

Nov 27, 2016 | Events

The Niagara Parks Commission (NPC) and the City of Niagara Falls, along with its Niagara Falls New Year’s Eve event partners invite the public to join the celebrations and be part of one of Canada’s longest running New Year’s Eve festivities and concert series, taking place in Queen Victoria Park.

Event organizers are pleased to report that this year’s concert will feature performances by an all Canadian musical lineup. This highly anticipated free show will begin at 8 p.m. in Queen Victoria Park, overlooking the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls beginning with local Niagara Falls rock band James Blonde and Canadian Country Music Association Award winners High Valley. The show continues with Juno winner Serena Ryder and concludes with one of Canada’s most beloved rock groups, the Sam Roberts Band.

Celebrate the arrival of the New Year and experience incredible musical performances, and two magnificent fireworks displays, launched from the Niagara Gorge and the Skylon Tower, at 9 p.m. and midnight. The outdoor celebration also features a variety of food and beverage options, as well as an outdoor licensed area. As always, the presence of security and policing will be on-site to ensure everyone’s safety throughout the night.
