Rochester Amerks to hold annual Hometown Heroes Night on Jan. 29

The Rochester Americans will hold their annual “Hometown Heroes Night” on Friday, Jan. 29 as the team hosts the Binghamton Senators in a 7:05 p.m. game at The Blue Cross Arena.

The Amerks are honoring all first responders such as police officers, firefighters and emergency medical technicians, as well as military members and veterans. Prior to the Amerks-Senators game, the Rochester Police Department will face-off with a team from the Buffalo Police Department in an exhibition hockey game starting at 4 p.m.

The Amerks are also offering all Hometown Heroes two complimentary tickets to their game against the Senators. Along with the complimentary tickets, First Responders and military members can purchase additional tickets for their family and friends in advance for as low as just $12. Those interested in taking advantage of the offer can do so by visiting Hometown Heroes or their families can also use that link to submit a photo to be used during an in-game tribute on the video board.
