Nov 9, 2015 | In the News

The Rural Outreach Center (ROC), located at 730 Olean Road, East Aurora, is now offering a variety of services for veterans of all branches of the U.S. military and their spouses. The Veterans One-stop Center of Western New York (VOC of WNY) will administer the program.

“The VOC of WNY offers everything from benefits counseling, case management, and educational and employment services to financial counseling, housing and emergency services, legal services and much more,” said Frank Cerny, board chairman of the ROC. “They are very good at navigating a complex system and assisting our veterans and their families, and we are very pleased to extend their outreach into the rural areas of Western New York through the ROC.”

Veterans living in rural Western New York who are in need of assistance are encouraged to contact the Rural Outreach Center at 240-2220 for more information. Appointments are available Thursday mornings at the ROC’s East Aurora location.
