Job Title: Finance Manager/Office Manager/Administrative Assistant
Salary: Based on qualifications and level of experience
Location: 730 Olean Road, East Aurora
Primary Responsibility: Maintaining the organization’s financial records, as well as developing and managing all aspects of the ROC’s front office and physical sites.
Qualifications: Minimum associate’s degree in business with a concentration in accounting/finance. Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience, including financial oversight, is ideal. Knowledge of and experience with Quickbooks a must. Experience with medical billing and claims. Ability to be structured, yet flexible a must. A passion for non-profit, mission-driven work a necessity. Strong administrative capacity, including management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Sensitivity to the needs and concerns of the rural poor and issues of poverty. Ability to work independently and cooperatively with executive director, staff, board members, Rural Outreach Center Participants, and consultants.
Supervisor: Executive director and operating officer
Duties: Monitoring payables, receivables, payroll, general ledger, budgeting, grant distribution and preparing reports for the Board of Directors. Working with accountant on audit and making sure general accounting rules are followed. Oversee the operation of ROC office area, including monitoring of telephone calls, visitors and volunteers.
