The Buffalo Sabres announced the team will wear the uniform style the team donned at the 2018 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic in three additional games this season at KeyBank Center:
• Thursday, Feb. 8 against the New York Islanders
• Monday, Feb. 19 against the Washington Capitals
• Wednesday, April 4 against the Ottawa Senators (Fan Appreciation Night)
In addition to the return of the Winter Classic-style uniform, the Feb. 19 game will feature a Winter Classic-themed jersey towel giveaway.
As part of Fan Appreciation Night on April 4, select fans at the Sabres’ final home game of the season will receive the Winter Classic-style jerseys worn by the players that night during the team’s annual “Jersey Off My Back” promotion.
Specially designed for the outdoor game against the New York Rangers at Citi Field in New York on Jan. 1, the uniform combines design concepts from the franchise’s early years with modifications of the team’s current logo and elements from the team’s 40th anniversary jersey to create a unique look that recalls the Sabres’ 48 years of history.
