A huge lineup of professional athletes — including several Hall of Famers and members of the Buffalo Bills, Braves and Sabres — are scheduled to appear at the Sports Collectors Expo Feb. 18 and 19 in Batavia. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Batavia Downs Gaming Center, 8315 Park Road, Batavia.
Scheduled to appear on Saturday, Feb. 18, are:
• 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Denny McLain, Ray Bentley
• 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.: Don Luce, Craig Ramsay
• 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Gerry Meehan, Phil Myre, Don Edwards
• 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m.: Clint Malarchuk
• 12 to 1 p.m.: Adrian Dantley, Gar Heard, Dave Schultz, Bob Weiss, Bob Sauve
• 1 to 2 p.m.: Lawrence Taylor, James Harris, Herman Boone
• 2 to 3 p.m.: Vinny Pazienza, Clark Gilles, Grant Ledyard, Kevin Mitchell
Scheduled to appear on Sunday, Feb. 19, are:
• 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Denny McLain, Ray Bentley
• 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: The Hanson Brother, Kevin Mitchell
• 12 to 1 p.m.: Bruce Smith, Billy Shaw, David White
• 1 to 2 p.m.: James Lofton, Steve Tasker, Don Beebe
• 2 to 3 p.m. Mark Kelso, Mary Levy, Joe DeLamielleure, Scott Norwood
Admission to the event, which will also feature numerous sports card and memorabilia dealers from across the country, is just $8. Children under age 10 will be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Individuals 18 and older will receive $7 in free play for the casino with the purchase of a ticket to the Sports Collectors Expo. Additionally, paid admission will include two free autographs each day: Bentley and Ledyard on Saturday and Bentley and White on Sunday.
