Springtime in the Country grows with new Spring Market

Mar 7, 2017 | Events

Celebrating 23 years of fine art and artisans, Springtime in the Country returns to the Event Center at the Hamburg Fairgrounds from Friday, March 31 through Sunday, April 2. And this year, Springtime in the Country has expanded to include a Spring Market, a unique retail addition featuring all that we love about the season — fresh fruits and vegetables, beautiful flowers, specialty foods, craft wineries, brewers and distillers, food trucks, mobile kitchens and much more!

As always, shoppers are afforded the unique opportunity to connect with over 200 artisans from across the nation, learn about their considerable talents and purchase handcrafted items.

Along with the Spring Market, this year’s edition of Springtime in the Country features garden art, metalworks, vintage fashion, original wall art, custom furniture, designer jewelry, home décor, spa quality bath and beauty products, gourmet foods, toys, pottery and so much more.  Springtime in the Country is the perfect destination for gift buying for Easter, Mother’s Day or spring birthdays, or simply to indulge yourself!

“This market epitomizes a growing trend in our community, which is the importance of buying small, handmade and local,” notes Daniel Kaczynski of Premier Promotions. “We are definitely experiencing a resurgence in community markets as consumers are making meaningful purchases from small businesses.”

Springtime in the Country hours are 4 to 9 p.m. Friday,  10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $7 for adults and seniors, and complimentary return passes will be available at the event’s information booth. Children under 12 will be admitted free.

Discount tickets for Springtime in the Country are available through Thursday, March 30 and may be purchased at the Fairgrounds Business Office (open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday) and other locations listed online at www.wnypremierpromotions.com. Parking is free.

For 33 years, Premier Promotions has produced high-quality, extremely successful artisan events including Springtime in the Country, Christmas in the Country, Yuletide in the Country and Christmas in the Country-Erie. The events are consistently ranked among the Top 100 craft shows in America by Sunshine Artist magazine. Last year, almost 100,000 visitors attended these shows, purchasing more than $4 million in original handmade merchandise and gourmet foods directly from the juried artists. Premier Promotions also has helped raise more than $1.4 million for Western New York charities.
