Ultimo Dragon coming to North Tonawanda; international legend to wrestle alongside WNY’s premier talent

Brawlfest is coming to North Tonawanda on May 18.

Empire State Wrestling (ESW) returns to the St. Johnsburg Fire Hall, 7165 Ward Road, North Tonawanda, on Saturday, May 18 for Brawlfest. Pre-sale general admission tickets are $15. Tickets increase $5 day of event. Front and second row tickets are sold out. Doors open at 5 p.m. with bell-time at 6 p.m. “Brawlfest” will air live on Twitch and will be recorded for ESW’s streaming service partners. 

The following wrestlers are scheduled to appear at Brawlfest:
• Global wrestling legend Ultimo Dragon.
• North Tonawanda’s own Kevin Bennett will face Beyond Wrestling star “Retrosexual” Anthony Greene.
• The return of All-Elite Wrestling signee Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
• The ESW debut of West Coast wrestling veteran Tyler Bateman.
• A six-man tag-team match between ESW Tag Team Champions James Sayga and Vince Valor plus viral internet star Anthony Gaines against ESW Commissioner The Caesar, “Mastiff” Will Calrissian and the returning longtime ESW mainstay Chris Cooper.
• ESW Heavyweight Champion Brandon Thurston will defend his title against Major League Wrestling star Fred Yehi.
• Massive Beyond Wrestling star Josh Briggs will make his debut at ESW versus former ESW Heavyweight Champion Bill Collier.
• Portland, Oregon native Kate Carney will face Beyond Wrestling star Davienne.
• Fan favorite Puf will square off versus Cleveland, Ohio native Atticus Cogar.
• Many of ESW’s regular heroes and villains such as ex-World Wrestling Entertainment star Colin Delaney, Every Time I Die guitarist “The Butcher of Buffalo” Andy Williams and many others.

ESW shows are held throughout the calendar year, primarily at the St. Johnsburg Fire Hall in North Tonawanda, boasting crowds of over 400 fans. Larger “super show” events are held at the Kenan Center in Lockport and the Frontier Fire Hall in Niagara Falls, N.Y., drawing crowds up to 1,000. Visit eswwrestling.com for more information.
